This summer, we had the pleasure of hosting a unique and educational event with the Boys and Girls Club of Durango, demonstrating our commitment to community engagement and youth development.
In an effort to inspire and educate the next generation, we invited the enthusiastic members of the Boys and Girls Club of Durango to our facilities. The day was packed with exciting activities and hands-on demonstrations. Our skilled team showcased the sophisticated machinery we use to cut metal roofing and gutters, offering the children a glimpse into the intricate processes behind our work.
One of the highlights of the event was the construction and shingling of a massive dog house. The kids were thrilled to see the step-by-step process, from laying the foundation to adding the final touches. This interactive experience not only sparked their curiosity but also taught them valuable skills and the importance of teamwork.
The event was a resounding success, leaving a lasting impression on everyone involved. The children expressed their excitement and newfound appreciation for construction work. “I never knew how much effort goes into making a roof!” exclaimed one of the participants. The staff at the Boys and Girls Club were equally appreciative, noting the positive influence such events have on the kids’ development and confidence.
